INTRODUCTION

Coey Labs is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our patient's personal health information. This HIPAA Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

DEFINITIONS

2. Patient Rights: Coey Labs respects patients' rights to access and control their PHI. Patients have the following rights:

Right to Access: Patients can access their PHI and obtain a copy of their medical records.
Right to Amend: Patients can request that their medical records be amended if they believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete.
Right to Request Restrictions: Patients can request that Coey Labs restrict the use and disclosure of their PHI.
Right to Confidential Communications: Patients can request that Coey Labs communicate with them about their medical information in a specific way or location.
Right to File a Complaint: Patients can file a complaint with Coey Labs or the Department of Health and Human Services if they believe their privacy rights have been violated.

3. Confidentiality and Security: Coey Labs takes the confidentiality and security of PHI seriously.
